Almond Butter Berry Protein Smoothie Bowl
This shake has the vibrant red color characteristic of Root Chakra and the familiar, comforting flavor of PB&J meets milkshake. It is best served in a bowl with a spoon due to it’s amazing thick texture! If you have time to make this meal extra special, take a minute to whip up the Creamy Almond Butter Swirl and have fun drizzling over top your delicious, nutritious, and cleansing creation!
½ cup frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen raspberries
¼ cup frozen banana slices
2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds, plus additional for garnish
2 tablespoons coconut cream
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 packet Mindful Health Cleanse
¼ - ½ cup almond milk
goji berries (optional garnish)
Combine ingredients in a blender. Blend on high about 1 minute, until thoroughly processed. Pour into a bowl and top with pomegranate seeds, goji berries, and Creamy Almond Butter Swirl.
BONUS: Creamy Almond Butter Swirl
A smooth and tasty addition to any Mindful Health Cleanse shake or smoothie bowl, this delicious topping can be made in seconds and lends a bit of healthy indulgence to your meal!
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon honey
Place all ingredients in a small coffee mug and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir together until blended and drizzle over shake or smoothie bowl. The swirl will harden like a magic shell topping and adds a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. YUM!
