Heart Nourishing Avocado Toast

In honor of Valentine's day, we have a little recipe to nourish your heart chakra. A delicious, heart opening take on the beloved Avocado toast:

Ingredients:

  • Gluten and wheat-free toast (I used Kim & Jake’s plain buns) 
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 green pear 
  • 1 kale leaf
  • ¼ teaspoon spirulina 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp pepitas

Directions:

  • Toast bread
  • Peel avocado and cut in half. Thinkly slice each half horizontally (tip: cover knife in EVOO to make cleaner cuts). Fan out each (now sliced) half into two and string out individual slices. Roll into circle to create rose effect. Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu09bcxZc5E
  • Places “roses” on toast. 
  • Top with green pear heart cut outs, pepitas, kale (as much as you’d like) and a sprinkle of spirulina and salt. 
  • Eat with an open heart <3
