In honor of Valentine's day, we have a little recipe to nourish your heart chakra. A delicious, heart opening take on the beloved Avocado toast:
- Gluten and wheat-free toast (I used Kim & Jake’s plain buns)
- 1 avocado
- 1 green pear
- 1 kale leaf
- ¼ teaspoon spirulina
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp pepitas
- Toast bread
- Peel avocado and cut in half. Thinkly slice each half horizontally (tip: cover knife in EVOO to make cleaner cuts). Fan out each (now sliced) half into two and string out individual slices. Roll into circle to create rose effect. Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu09bcxZc5E
- Places “roses” on toast.
- Top with green pear heart cut outs, pepitas, kale (as much as you’d like) and a sprinkle of spirulina and salt.
- Eat with an open heart <3
