To balance your Solar plexus it is important to increase your intake of fiber, complex carbohydrates and yellow foods. This recipe is both sweet and spicy with foods that are rich in fiber, complex carbs and yellow spices.
What you will need:
1 cup brown rice, washed
1 tsp salt
1/4 c coconut shreds
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil
Set separate pot on stove and begin to boil water for rice.
Wash rice with strainer over bowl (if water is very brown, repeat process until water is clear)
Transfer washed rice into cooking pot and steam-dry excess water by putting pot on high flame for a 2-3 minutes.
Once dry, add 1 3/4 c boiling water to pot with 1/2 tsp of salt.
Bring heat to low and cover for 45 min.
Uncover and let sit for 10 min.
Add in 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1/2 tbsp maple syrup, stir lightly.
Add in spices, 1/2 tsp salt and coconut flakes and stir until well mixed.
Enjoy with a side of your choice!
