If you ask any gardener what they're doing this Fall, they would tell you about the bouquet of seeds and bulbs they're gathering. They would tell you vividly about the beautiful Spring flowers their seeds will yield and how they've strategically chosen their favorites with the hopes of beautifying their lives when Spring rolls around. 

It's the true mark of wisdom to live in congruence with nature. Since we've learned this secret, we try our best to plan according to the seasons as much as possible. We like to think about which chakras will need the most attention depending on the time of year and which products and offerings our clients will need in times of transition.

The colder months are all about change, preparation, looking deep into ourselves and finding time to rest. This time of year, we're reconnecting with our inner world as well as our closest friends and family. All the while, we know that at some point the cold weather will give way to emerging blooms and the striving energy of Spring. The energy of Spring is about going out and achieving your dreams and essentially, blooming. When Spring arrives, you may find people looking to manifest new relationships, new jobs or even new living situations. In Spring, there is a deep push for growth. I find my year tends go much more smoothly when I use the fertile, regenerative energy of the colder seasons to plant the "seeds" or goals that I want to come to fruition in Spring.

For this reason, we always suggest our clients create a Spring plan for wellness.

Another great tip for planning ahead is to set some goals. If you can set some achievable goals for yourself, you'll emerge in Spring feeling like a whole new you. You'll stand taller, more confident, and you'll feel so accomplished you'll be ready to take on any new opportunities Spring will bring your way. We recommend following the S.M.A.R.T strategy when setting goals. Ie. Make sure your goals are :

  • Specific (simple, sensible, significant).
  • Measurable (meaningful, motivating).
  • Achievable (attainable).
  • Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based).
  • Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive).

We're also huge proponents of doing a nourishing cleanse a few times a year, and Spring is a great time to do so. We tend to go into storage-mode when cold weather strikes and it can mean taking in a lot more calories.
