Congrats! You’ve stuck to a wellness program and achieved your goal of clearing away that toxicity and mental fog. You challenged yourself to stay on track and to avoid pizza parties like the plague. You are a warrior of wellness! Now, what? After the scales have budged and you’ve achieved clearer skin and more energy, I’m sure the last thing you’d like to do is slide back into those old ways that inspired a detox in the first place. If you're at that sweet spot right after a detox cleanse where you want to continue feeling clean and healthful, we’ve put together a few tips that may help you maintain your fabulous results!

  1. Keep the same eating or drinking patterns that worked for you. Many of our clients ask us if they can continue doing the 14 day Mindful Health Cleanse forever by purchasing cleanse after cleanse! Although, the cleanse is one of the most gentle and there are situations where our bodies could use a deeper cleanse, we recommend you come in for a session to be sure that cleansing for extended periods of time is what you need. For most clients, the reason they like to stick with the cleanse is because the results are so stellar and the 2 shake a day w/ a real meal + snacks format is so easy to stick to. For the busy individual, it’s really an ideal way to stay on track. If you find that you really enjoy eating this way, then we recommend using our Glo-tein nourishing protein powder in place of the cleanse packets. It’s packed with protein, Vanilla flavored, delicious and easy to create a breakfast and evening shake when you’re on the run .

2. After a cleanse, you may feel like you’ve finally hit the reset on your diet. That sense of flow does not need to stop at just the kitchen. It’s a good idea to keep thinking about cleansing by switching the focus to detoxing through the skin. Try incorporating detox baths and dry brushing to rejuvenate the cells, they assist your body as it continues to work on your behalf. You’ll look beautiful and glowy from within when you start taking care of your largest organ- the skin! If you’re still using “conventional” make-up and skincare that may have toxic ingredients, try switching up your products slowly. Here are a few green beauty staples we love!

3. When you’re cleansing, there’s the tendency to get more creative with your meals. Often cleanses restrict some of the ingredients we’re used to using, these limitations often spark new ideas around what we consider our staples and our “favorite recipes”. Use that innovative energy to continue getting a little creative with your meals. Try incorporating new super foods or find dishes that you thought you craved and reinvent them with healthier options. Keep falling in love with the foods that nourish you well.

4. Stay in touch with friends you’ve cleansed with while continuing to create social experiences around your healthier practices- Most of our clients cleanse in a group for added support or the attend personal retreats and group retreats to maintain their healthy lifestyles with like-minded friends. Try to keep the lines of communication open with your fellow cleansers and support each other once you’ve finished cleansing. Create healthy dinners, go to group detox treatments together, but most of all, get creative!

It also helps to plan out when your next cleanse will be! If you know you’re headed for the holidays and may have some slip ups, buy your cleanse in advance, or make plans to get a group of friends together for a cleanse for the new year or as the season changes.
