BIO-ENERGETIC EVALUATION (EAV)
EAV is a non-invasive test that measures the acupuncture meridians on the hands and feet to determine if an organ or a body system is functioning optimally.
It’s also been used to identify toxins, viruses, or bacteria in the body and to determine intolerances to foods, chemicals, or toxins.
Therefore, it’s also possible to use the EAV to check compatibility with certain supplements or remedies!
How does EAV Work?
The hands and feet are connected to every part of the body.
EAV is a non-invasive way to assess and identify any causes for concern with the body’s organs. This is done using a brass rod – a little like a pen – that’s placed on the hands and feet to send a minute current through the body to gather all the data needed for evaluation.
The method comes from traditional Chinese acupuncture and reflexology that treats the hands and feet as direct pathways to the internal body.
Once the scan is completed, Nicole will recommend a combination of remedies that balance out the weakened area and create a customized wellness plan.
What’s in an EAV session?
You can receive EAV alone, or part of another service at Mindful Health.
An EAV standalone session is quite simple. All you have to do is relax on the bed, and Nicole will place the rod on your hands and feet. The session will last around 30 minutes.
After the assessment, Nicole will discuss your results and what you’re next steps could be.

CAN I SEE MY REGULAR PHYSICIAN WHILE SEEING NICOLE FOR E.A.V TESTING AND NUTRITION?
Yes! In fact, we often recommend it. Many clients who are going the preventative route feel great with the protocols they receive alone but other clients have bigger health concerns that require the support of a medical doctor. We never recommend a client stop working with their physicians. Integrative care is often optimal.
CAN I EAT BEFORE MY APPT?
Yes. You can eat and move as you normally do before and after the test.
WILL MY BLOOD BE DRAWN
No. The test is completely non-invasive.
WHAT DOES THE E.A.V TEST FOR?
The EAV may be used to check compatibility with certain supplements or remedies. The test has also been used to assess which toxins, viruses, or bacteria in the body will need to be addressed. EAV may also be used if someone is intolerant of certain foods, chemicals, or toxins.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN SUPPLEMENTS TO TEST?
Yes! Nicole will gladly test up to 8 of your own supplements, remedies, products or prescriptions. Please Note: Additional time may be required for the testing of additional products. Longer appointment times may be advised.
WHAT IF I TAKE PRESCRIPTIONS?
If you've been prescribed prescriptions, we'll always advise you to follow the instructions of your physician. Many people work with their primary care physicians/specialist and incorporate E.A.V testing as a tool to maintain balance and well-being.
CAN I DO AN EAV REMOTELY? AND HOW?
Yes you can!
If you're not able to come into our office, we'll make sure you're able to reap the benefits of EAV testing. We've done the EAV test via Skype or Facetime.
The process is slightly different but we'll be happy to walk you through it.
HOW DOES THE E.A.V WORK?
"The testing procedure begins by running a very weak electric current (millionth of an ampere), through the energy channels or meridian pathways using the Biomeridian instrument. According to the Natural Solutions for Preventive Health Care, these will be captured via data access points on the hands.
Through the meridians (or energetic pathways,) a physician will be able to look through and assess the functional status of the patient’s body.
Although a lot of people are cynical, however, the data access points and energetic pathways are verified via radioactive isotope imaging. To be able to determine the functional status of the tissues in the body, the amount of current that was able to pass through the cellular of the organ, gland, or system will be assessed.
This will then be compared to a standard health guideline.
Anything that doesn’t match the standards will be easily detected, after which, the parts of the body that are not functioning well will be identified. Once the dysfunctional organs or systems are identified, the physician will then conduct a test of potential treatments you can apply.
